Modern, jazz, tap & open classes.
- What to wear
- Leotards, crop tops, tights, leggings, bike pants or unitards. Clothing must be close fitting so teachers can see the dancer's body line: no baggy pants or flares. The JMDS uniform range is ideal.
- Modern & open classes
- Bare feet are preferred for modern. Jazz shoes are welcome.
- Tap
- Tap shoes are required for every class.
Grooming & exams.
- Hair
- Neatly pulled off the face and tightly secured for every class. Ballet from Grade 1 upwards: in a bun.
- Jewellery
- No watches or jewellery in class.
- Exam uniforms
- Ballet, modern and tap exams each have a set uniform. We'll tell you what's needed, and the cost, when your child is ready to sit an exam.
